Sparks, Nev.-based drinking fountain and emergency equipment manufacturer Haws Corp. has named Margo Mee as product manager. Margo, who previously was the company's sales and marketing program manager, has worked for Haws for more than 12 years, starting in the Berkeley, Calif., office before transferring to the Sparks facility in 1998.

In her new position, she will direct Haws' product development initiatives and help align the product development function with the company's business strategies.

Mark Hornstra

Livermore, Calif.-based Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) has named Mark Hornstra senior vice president of product planning. Previously, Hornstra was vice president of worldwide sales operations and demand planning and vice president of worldwide sales in the mobile handset business for Milpitas, Calif.-based SanDisk Corp. He also was responsible for SanDisk's retail and OEM business in Japan for three years.

In his new position, Hornstra will be a member of the TPS Executive Committee.
