The RTR-500GSM mobile base station is a cellular-connected data collector for use in mobile and remote locations. The station can connect to the manufacturer's line of wireless data loggers. The station can be configured to automatically “push” current readings and recorded data to cell phones, PCs and servers through means such as e-mail, SMS or FTP. It also can send warning messages if preset limits are exceeded. With an optional GPS Receiver, current readings from remote unit(s) can be sent via e-mail or FTP along with location info attached. The unit will operate for 10 days on four AA batteries and includes provisions for external power sources.
