Hinged locking doors allow video projectors to be both easily accessed and protected from tampering inside the PRCT-2 Educator Mobile Projector Cart. For close alignment with screens or blackboards, users tilt the shelf on which the projector rests, then adjust a positioning stop to hold it in place. Because the projector is housed in the cart's cabinet, the cart's 2- by 2-foot work surface can be used for other instructional material. Additional storage areas are offered with one standard shelf and space for another optional adjustable shelf (both have 2-inch holes for routing cables). For transport, the PRC-2 is equipped with rear-mounted stationary casters and front-mounted swivel casters.
