With SpectraLink wireless telephone, Wi-Fi handsets boast encryption security to safeguard sensitive information. Handsets were recently added to the pre-validation list of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for complying with government-mandated security standards. Meet requirements of Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 certification, which applies to many government IT purchases involving sensitive voice, video, or data network communications. Each handset prevents wireless signals from propagating to guard against security breaches and preserve data integrity. Product line also includes FIPS-compliant video systems and unified conferencing bridges for voice video, and content collaboration. Polycom, Inc., Pleasanton, CA
