An 806-megahertz processor and 256-megabyte SDRAM memory help the FC-250 field controller speed up data collection. A built-in Bluetooth modem and wireless LAN capability enable data exchange, communication and Internet access. When used with the manufacturer's imaging station, the FC-250 displays images transferred in real time. The field controller has an IP66 rating, so surveyors can view and enter information on the 3.7-inch touch screen regardless of weather conditions. Other features include rechargeable batteries and two SD/CF data slots.
