Parascript's SignatureXpert software was used during the 2010 primary elections in California to process votes by mail, greatly decreasing the amount of manual processing needed. More than 100,000 envelopes were handled on a sorting system that used the software for signature verification. The product offers image cleansing, signature location, digital image analysis and pattern recognition capabilities to improve decision quality and fraud detection in elections, as well as payment automation and forms processing applications.
