The HOB MacGate gives Mac users remote access to computers running the Mac OS, including graphics workstations. Users can remotely access the computers on an organization's network, either through a LAN or over the Internet. Once logged in, the desktop of the remote system is visible on the client computer, and all components of the Mac user interface are active, making it possible to work on the computer as if it were local. No software needs to be installed on the client computer, and the connection is secure.
