Faronics Anti-Virus integrates with the company's Deep Freeze restore system, allowing anti-virus updates to be applied to computers in a “frozen” state, reducing the time required for software maintenance. The product offers malware protection without the sluggish performance and resource drain that can plague traditional anti-virus solutions. The software includes a dynamic analysis of suspected malware, using heuristics, signature detection and file emulations, along with threat analysis that can prevent harm to the computer. Included e-mail protection provides direct support for a number of e-mail programs.
