An expanded VideoSphere intelligent video-management portfolio includes new camera and encoder platforms. The MegaPX 720-pixel camera streams high-resolution video (1,280 by 720 pixels) at up to 30 frames per second over standard IP networks. It incorporates H.264 compression and features a light, compact design. The Edge Blade encoder (shown) is a 14-slot, 4U rack enclosure that supports up to 56 analog video streams and embedded video analytics. The encoder delivers full frame rate, D1 resolution video on all channels and simultaneous H.264 and MPEG4 compression technology.
