Remote infrastructure monitors

The Sensaphone IMS-1000 and IMS-4000 infrastructure-monitoring systems help protect server rooms from potentially damaging changes in the environment, including unsafe temperatures or water on the floor. Once sensors identify a problem, an alarm process notifies IT managers for quick action. The IMS-1000, designed for small- to mid-sized rooms, can monitor up to 16 network devices or port services; eight external sensors track the status of multiple conditions. A modular design allows the IMS-4000 to accommodate expanding organizations as they grow; monitoring networks and IP devices through pinging and port availability, a single host unit can support additional nodes for monitoring up to 32 different sites located anywhere. Both systems feature a standard internal battery backup system. A telephone modem for more alarm delivery options is optional on the IMS-1000 and standard on the IMS-4000.
