The Identity and Access Management system is a suite of integrated hardware and software that allows users to authenticate and manage identities. The system enables collection of identification documents and biometrics and can link to background-check services. Users also can produce secure smart cards or tokens; convert credentials from an old card to a new one; and control and track access to buildings and/or computers. Cards can be synchronized with a human-resources system.
