3D Sherlock's new forensics software tool is designed for police and other security agencies or departments. It offers a patented 3-D search tool for eyewitness recovery of visual memory of faces. Visual searching takes only a few minutes and is based on visual navigation of a large database. Because the tool uses 3-D head shapes, orientation adjustment is provided and can be matched to the target face's own orientation. The software operates safely from a secure USB key and no software installation is required. A first version is available for qualified customers, and the product release is scheduled for September.
