Sunbelt Software has expanded its VIPRE Enterprise security software line with a scalable management console, a new client agent and a new optional premium edition with additional malware protection (in addition to the virus and spyware protection in the standard edition). The new releases offer protection for small, medium and large enterprises. System administrators and service providers can manage multiple-location infrastructures from one console with granular role-based access control or multi-site configuration. A 64-bit boot cleaner and 64-bit rootkit scanner are designed to enhance support for 64-bit environments. Included in the Premium edition are Web filtering, host intrusion prevention and a desktop firewall.
