The Communicator! NXT version 4.1 is an update to Dialogic's emergency notification software. According to the company, modifications include increased security measures, expanded remote activation capabilities, improved text-to-speech and the addition of several new system reports. Minimum requirements for PINs and passwords have been increased. The software also will send notifications to designated individuals, alerting them once a notification “scenario” has been activated or the backup system has been accessed. In addition, remote activation allows notifications to be initiated from any HTML-supported mobile device. The application's speech recorder has been replaced with a text-to-speech software application.
