The Data Acquisition Package, as an option for the Phase Monitor II instrument, provides real-time image and data capture directly to a PC computer. The video image, temperature and pressure data are displayed on the PC monitor and archived to the hard drive. The date and time are recorded and the user can enter a short text comment. The package includes a PXI (frame grabber) card to be installed into the user's PC running Windows 2000, NT, XP or Me. The Phase Monitor II determines the solubility of compounds and mixtures of compounds in subcritical and supercritical fluids, and enables observation of materials under conditions controlled precisely by the researcher.
