The HP Mini 5101 features an anodized aluminum display enclosure with a black, brushed finish. A newly designed spill-resistant keyboard is 95 percent of a full-size QWERTY keyboard. Starting at 2.6 pounds, the unit features a 10.1-inch diagonal LED display available in either WSVGA or high-definition resolutions. Users can choose either the four-cell battery for light weight or six-cell battery for long battery life — up to eight hours of battery runtime. A 7,200-rpm hard drive comes standard with the unit, and an optional solid-state drive is available in either 80 or 128 gigabytes. Accessories include a USB 2.0 port replicator, a functional messenger bag or a neoprene slipcase, a USB 2.0 docking station, an external optical drive, and USB-powered external speakers.
