The SATDOCK22R dual-drive SATA hard-drive duplicator functions as both an external SATA hard-drive docking station for 2.5-inch (up to 500 gigabytes) or 3.5-inch SATA/SATA II hard disks (up to 2 terabytes) and a hard-drive imaging solution. Functioning as a hard-drive duplicator, the SATDOCK22R can be used to clone or create exact 1:1 images of the contents of 2.5- or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives onto a second SATA hard drive; the standalone feature allows users to duplicate drives up to 2 terabytes in size without having to connect to a host desktop or laptop computer. The hard-drive duplicator dock offers sector-by-sector duplication, which creates an identical copy of the source drive on the destination drive. The duplicator dock functions regardless of the drive contents, making it suitable for government agencies that are looking to duplicate sensitive/secure files.
