The model 0300 Jackhammer Shredder destroys hard drives, other electronic devices (cell phones, BlackBerrys, PDAs), optical media (CDs and DVDs), and computer backup tapes. Requiring no special installation or wiring, and key-operated to prevent unauthorized use, the shredder can accommodate hard drives and other electronic devices up to 1-inch thick through a mailbox-style slot that prevents access to the cutting blades. The unit processes 125 to 500 drives per hour. A built-in logic control clears jams automatically.
