The Scout Tactical III utility light has been upgraded to enhance output and battery life. The unit delivers 15 lumens of brightness. It features four modes, each of which promotes increased visibility and user safety. The third mode permits a user to be seen from two miles away via road or air. The manufacturer altered the Scout's battery source to three AA batteries, extending the battery life to a range of 24 to 100 hours. It may be worn on a belt or pocket, hung from a carabineer, set on a flat surface or hand-held.
