Stairmaster 500-NG renovation treads for stairways are photoluminescent markings that install on the fronts of steps. When lights go out in a building, the markings on the front of the steps glow, and guide people going down the steps. The glow area recharges almost indefinitely with any natural or artificial light, according to the manufacturer. The treads can be applied to almost any steps, including concrete, metal and wood. The treads also provide an anti-slip surface to prevent slips and falls.
