The Original Series metal Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) pump is suited for a variety of applications in the construction industry. Original Series metal pumps come in five sizes from 13-millimeter (1/2 inch) to 102-millimeter (4 inch) models. All of the models can handle pressures up to 8.6 bar (125 psi), and they feature flow rates ranging from 62.8 lpm (16.6 gpm) to 1,211 lpm (320 gpm).

Jim Wilden, founder of Wilden Pump and Engineering Company, invented the air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump in 1955. The pump was designed for demanding applications. The clamped configuration is a design that evolved from Wilden's invention of the first AODD. The company's metal pump line lends itself to various processes and waste applications.
