The lightweight, compact Wildcat 200 welder/generator (30 percent smaller and weighing 150 pounds less than competitive models, according to the manufacturer) is durable enough to be backed by a three-year warranty. A 7-gallon gas tank for the welder's 14-horsepower engine allows for 12 hours of continuous operation with a ⅛-inch stick electrode; the Wildcat features a maximum of 200 amps of direct current for stick and TIG welding and up to 6,500 watts of generator power.
