The Model 20 UTL is designed to allow gas utility crews to pinpoint the location of leaks without ripping up large stretches of roadway. The unit lets crews drill at selected intervals to narrow the location of the leak, saving time and expense. The vertical drill is configurable for depths up to several feet (standard length is 18 inches), and quick-releasing bits range from ⅝ to 2 ½ inches. A 29-inch wheelbase supports the 20 UTL's 207-pound weight for easy maneuvering, and quick-coupler air fittings can reduce repair time.
