Model PTL 2.4 prevents safety hazards of using a worker to stand in roadway and manually direct traffic. Ideal for road and bridge construction projects that require overnight or 24-hour traffic control, as well as for military and border checkpoints. Equipped with two three-light signals for controlling traffic of work zone, crossroad, intersection and other areas. Hand-held remote can control up to four devices manually. Onboard clock allows timing and programming changes to vary, based on time and day. Traffic light runs on 320-watt solar array with eight deep-cycle batteries. Can be towed easily to site. Installation takes less than 5 minutes. Options range from hardwire communication links to microwave detectors that adjust signal timing based on number of vehicles.
