Install DSC 600 bollards to protect
approaches to buildings, drop-off and passenger loading areas at
transportation hubs, sport arenas, office buildings and other
locations. The bollards form a barrier to block errant drivers,
vehicle bombers and other security threats. Two-bollard modules,
which can be configured in whatever length required, can stop and
destroy a 15,000-lb. truck traveling 50 mph. Installation requires
only 14-in. depth, compared with 4 ft. normally required for
traditional bollards. Meets U.S. Department of State specifications
for shallow foundation bollards. Can be installed within sidewalks,
on top of bridges or in planters. Each bollard conforms to curves,
inclines and rough surfaces. Delta Scientific Corp., Palmdale,
Calif.
