Path Guard Bollard Systems keep unwanted vehicles out of parks, pathways, playgrounds, fire lanes and restricted areas, while allowing access for pedestrians, ambulances, police cruisers and other authorized vehicles. Three-post design allows approved personnel to access restricted sites by simply releasing tilt-down mechanism and lowering upper section of center post. Upon leaving the site, person just lifts center post and locks bollard in place. Select from three options: collapsible bollard has top section that can be removed, leaving in-ground section flush with grade; removable bollard allows user to release top section and leave below-grade section flush with grade level; and solid bollards, which can be installed along with one collapsible or removable bollard. In retracted position, bollard measures only 5 ins. above grade, allowing authorized vehicles to travel directly over post. Made of 5- by 3-in. tubular steel, covered with a corrosion-resistant coating. Sports Technology Inc., Plymouth, Minn.
