Safety Smart delineators help motorists maintain proper position on unlit roadways, when driving at night or during inclement weather. Made of recycled material, each delineator features a 24-sq.-in. reflective area. Three-part design consists of polypropylene post, Xenoy stake, and a glass-filled, nylon shear pin that secures post to the stake. If vehicle strikes delineator, replaceable pin breaks away on impact, and post remains tethered to stake. Worker needs no special tools or equipment to replace pin. Posts and reflective tape come in a choice of colors. To install delineator, use an auger, hydraulic hammer, or manual tools. Delineators with weighted bases are also available.
