During times of circuit overload or storms, traffic lights may lose power. This product keeps traffic moving through dark and dangerous intersections, ensures public safety and eliminates the need for city staff to direct traffic. The system, which operates on natural gas or liquid propane, is enclosed in a non-corrosive aluminum housing about the size of an air conditioning unit. A satellite-based monitor protects the system. The steady source of fuel ensures that the unit's run time is virtually unlimited.
