The TDS-30HC multiple tarping system is used for alternate daily cover, and deploys and retrieves multiple (ballasted or unballasted) tarps. The system holds four tarps that are 30 feet wide and 100 feet long. The TDS-30HC is easily moved and operated by a department's existing landfill equipment from D4- to D8-class bulldozers or CAT816- to CAT836-class compactors. The system is self-powered and needs no other external power source to operate, and no fixtures or brackets need to be added to existing landfill equipment. The TDS-30HC comes with a heavy duty remote control unit so it can be controlled from inside the cab by the operator. If a landfill's daily working face requires a larger area to be covered, the system can be reloaded with additional tarps and deployed over the expanded area.
