The StormX system is designed to capture trash and debris from stormwater runoff. The hub and net design stops the flow of both floatable and non-floatable trash and debris as small as 5 millimeters in size, according to the manufacturer. The system is constructed of stainless steel hubs anchored into concrete for a weir configuration or secured directly to concrete or steel pipe outfalls with reusable commercial-grade nets. The weirs and nets assist with sediment fallout and collection without flooding. Built-in overflow mechanisms allow for heavy runoff to flow unimpeded during a heavy rain event.
