The Western HTS is a full-size snowplow designed exclusively for half-ton four-wheel-drive trucks. The unit boasts a 14-gauge steel moldboard, a 75-degree attack angle and a 15½-degree curl radius. A two-spring trip blade protects the plow and truck when the plow strikes an obstruction; elastomer trip pads reduce excessive jarring and soften the blade return when tripping occurs. The UltraMount mounting system enables one-side hookup: Simply drive into position (letting the flared receiver brackets guide the plow into place), rotate the handle to connect the plow and plug in the electrical connectors. Choose from a hand-held or joystick controller; each provides precise blade control, according to the manufacturer.
