Electric Sno*Melter mats can be shaped to fit edges along most walks, driveways and stairs (custom-made mats are available for unique requirements). Installed underneath the surface of asphalt, pavers or concrete, the mats eliminate the need for shoveling, plowing and salting. A temperature sensor triggers the cables to heat up in freezing conditions. Power is supplied by connection to standard voltages up to 480 VAC. The mats come in 18- or 36-inch widths, with lengths up to 30 feet.
