Designed for single-axle trucks, SDS (side-dump spreader) features: a 24-in. cab guard; 30-in.-high, 7-gauge-steel sides; a 39-in.-high, double-acting, 7-gauge-steel tailgate; dirt-shedding lower rub rails; and a removable conveyor floor. Conveyor is self-cleaning drag chain powered through a reducing gearbox and hydraulic motor. Unique chain tensioner automatically adjusts conveyor chain tension. Spinner assembly is adjustable to allow user to spread material wherever desired. Adjustable metering door allows user to limit or increase amount of material that is moved to the spinner. Spinner assembly can be removed for summer use. Chute can be rotated 90° to spread material to center of road. Tilt floor has a polymer wiper to reduce spillage.
