SaltDogg 4- and 4.5-cu.-yd. salt and sand spreaders are designed for dump bodies and flat beds with a GVW chassis of 15,000 to 26,000 lbs. Spreaders are available with hydraulic motor drive or 10.5-hp gas engine. Equipped with self-contained hoppers, which boast 12-gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams. All hopper sides are formed with a continuous J-channel profile for added rigidity and strength. Optimum material feed is maintained by hopper side walls sloped at 45°. Spread widths range from 4 to 30 ft. Conveyor, measuring 12 ins. wide, features replaceable 10-gauge stainless steel chain shields and conveyor floor. Conveyor chain wiper minimizes waste.
