Wide-Out snowplow features hydraulically movable wings that operator can control to suit plowing configuration—from 8-ft. straight blade to 10-ft. straight blade to 9-ft. -wide scoop position. Scoop position increases snow-carrying capacity by directing more snow into the moldboard and reduces spillover while plow maneuvers around obstacles or turns corners. Responsive hand-held control unit has backlit push buttons for all blade and wing functions. Operator can control wings independently or simultaneously, and likewise retract both wings to straight position. Trip-blade design with four trip springs protects plow from hidden obstacles.
