The W330 self-propelled road widener is suited for small widening jobs. The unit offers a working width up to 6 feet and depths from 8 inches above grade to 10 inches below grade. The W330 can transform to a legal shipping width of 8.5 feet by swinging and locking the tools to the side of the machine and folding up the hopper. A variable-speed, hydraulic end-drive system with a high-torque, direct-drive motor powers the 18-inch-wide conveyor belt at speeds up to 400 fpm. Discharge speed is controlled by the conveyor speed lever, and a foot pedal can be used to turn the belt on and off.
