The EverLast Smart Light series Type IV Shoe Box fixture is specifically designed for parking lots, athletic courts and off-road areas. The series is available in 70 or 100 watts and features a new reflector design that provides a 50 percent increase in lateral throw and a 15 percent increase in forward throw lighting, according to the manufacturer. A sharp house-side cut-off for perimeter lighting minimizes spill light. The fixtures incorporate step-dimming and on/off sensor controls for increased pedestrian safety. A ballast option dims the fixture to 50 percent power on vacancy, and an automatic “on” feature brightens to high level upon occupancy. Rated with a lamp life of 100,000 hours, the fixture is made of durable, lightweight polycarbonate.
