The Pelican 0550 Transport Case offers more than 20,000 cubic inches of storage space. Its open cell-core wall, polymer construction protects sensitive equipment from severe conditions. The case has two integrated automatic pressure equalization valves that keep moisture out and prevent vacuum lock, ensuring that the case opens easily at any altitude. The lid is equipped with special locking hinges (lid-stays) to ensure that the case stays securely open for easy access. Six of the cases fit in one load on an extra-large, military-style 463L Master Pallet (88 by 108 inches). The case's honeycomb construction and reinforced lid provide extra support for stacking cases.
