The FP5 flameless pothole patcher repairs potholes in cold weather. It features an insulated 5.1-cubic-yard electric-heated hopper that keeps asphalt pliable at a constant temperature. The truck-mounted unit's electric-heat system uses an onboard hydraulic-powered AC generator to warm the electric-heating elements, which produce consistent heat throughout the hopper, eliminating hot spots. The thermostat allows the temperature to be set to match the material being transported. The swing auger system delivers asphalt material in an 8.7-foot swing that extends from the driver-side wheel track past the passenger-side wheel track for shoulder, curb and gutter deterioration repairs.
