LithStor prefabricated storage buildings provide a UL-263-classified structure to safely house lithium batteries. The welded-steel buildings are equipped with several features to prevent and control fires, including a Class D fire extinguisher, a two-hour bi-directional resistance wall to separate new and used batteries, leak-proof sumps for hazardous material spill containment, air vents with three-hour dampers (to prevent accumulation of explosive vapors), and three-hour-resistance doors with self-closer systems. To prevent theft and vandalism, LithStor buildings come with a security lock and interior safety release system.
