The new Mechanical Hopper Release (MHR) system enables a forklift operator to empty a self-dumping hopper without having to get off the fork truck. The system is custom-designed for the manufacturer's hoppers, from ⅓ to five cubic yards. The system extends left or right to accommodate most forklifts, and it fits within the footprint of the hopper when not engaged. Options include a hinged cover, casters, a chain with a grab hook, side bolt lock, crane eyes and others. Use the unit for facility renovation projects or to move bulk materials, recyclables or waste.
