The Anver APU Series vacuum uses standard shop air to lift cylindrical components onto skids or assemblies. The vacuum's narrow suction pad has two plastic guides and an end-stop for adjustment along beams underneath cranes, hoists, balancers and robots. Once the peak vacuum level is reached, indicated by a 10 percent loss of vacuum with leakage rates less than 1.5 inches of mercury per second, a 9-volt battery-operated alarm system will trigger audio and visual alerts.
