The Model 200 road rake can be towed by a 1-ton or larger truck. The rake's caster tires follow the contour of the pavement. Stainless steel tines mounted in offset rows rake over the road surface. The hydraulically powered hopper can be raised and dumped as needed. Two rotating gutter brooms sweep debris away from barriers and other obstacles. The two available rake models can be powered hydraulically by either the towing unit or by mounting a 19-horsepower diesel engine on the front of the rake. An electrical control console is mounted in the cab to activate all functions. The rake achieves cleaning speeds up to 18 mph, and can be transported at highway speeds up to 55 mph. The road rake weighs 6,460 pounds.
