TenCate Geosynthetics' new brochure displays geotextiles designed for use on haul roads. They include Mirafi HP-Series woven geotextiles, comprised of high tenacity polypropylene yarns. One of the primary uses of geosynthetics has been and remains the stabilization of subgrades for haul roads. Geosynthetically stabilized aggregate can be used on access roads, construction entrance roads, staging areas and working platforms where soft subgrades and poor load-bearing soils pose a problem. TenCate has introduced the new brochure as a companion piece to its PowerPoint presentation specific to aggregate road systems.
