The Bobcat 18- and 24-inch-wide planer attachments have design changes that include increased torque and horsepower and increased down force to help keep the drum in the cut during operation. The cutting drums can be unlocked to oscillate up to 15 degrees in either direction for optimizing surface tracking on rutted or potholed surfaces. Another redesign makes the left ski visible to the operator, allowing better control of the machine's path. A stronger back frame allows the planer to handle higher-horsepower carriers. The new planers are compatible with all current high-flow Bobcat loaders.
