E-Krete is a polymer composite micro-overlay (PCMO) material used to preserve asphalt pavement. The LEED-qualified solar reflective surface lessens the urban heat island effect associated with asphalt while cooling the pavement and halting damage by UV and moisture intrusion. The material helps reduce the energy needed for adequate illumination in the area treated. E-Krete also works as a lightweight, skid resistant, concrete bridge deck repair and re-surfacing material.
