Kasi has redesigned its infrared asphalt repair heating chamber with an upgrade option. The 9-inch-wide infrared heating mesh design means more asphalt is heated faster, deeper and more evenly. According to the manufacturer, the upgrade enables seamless asphalt repair in less than 20 minutes (of a typical 5-by-5-foot patch, including preparation and clean up) and doubles infrared chamber longevity to more than 10 years. The upgrade can be retrofitted on any existing Kasi equipment as well as other manufacturers' infrared equipment. The images above show an asphalt surface before and after repairs with the Kasi infrared system.
