Makita's PC5001C five-inch concrete planer has an adjustable front roller and auxiliary base for consistent planing depth and stability. City maintenance and highway crews use the unit for smoothing concrete surfaces and leveling concrete seams. A 10-amp motor with a current limiter to prevent overheating powers the planer. The planer weighs 11.2 pounds, and has a two-finger trigger switch with lock-on function for operator comfort. It has a removable dust bag and a removable dust shroud cap for working in corners and against walls.
