The Eco Sound Barrier is designed to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to precast concrete sound barriers. The sound-blocking assembly is made from 23 percent recycled material and is 100 percent recyclable at the end of its useful life. At 4.25 pounds per square foot, the product is lighter than traditional precast sound barriers, requiring fewer trucks to transport it to the job site, according to the manufacturer. Eco Sound Barrier panels come in a standard length of 14 feet but can be customized to fit particular project requirements. Offering a sound transmission coefficient rating of up to 26, the panels come in five finishes and 20 color options.
