W.R. Meadows' 1428 HP is a hydraulic-cement-based, non-shrink, load-bearing grout that has an extended working time of up to 30 minutes under fluid condition, according to the company. It is designed to transfer load effectively and safely, ensuring long service time of the grouted item. The non-corrosive, non-metallic, mineral-based precision grout has high initial and ultimate flexural and compressive strengths. It can be mixed quickly, as needed, on the job site. Applications include grouting soleplates; bridge seats; precast columns and beams; steel column pads; precast beams; and segmental bridge construction. It also can be used to anchor guardrails, signposts, anchor bolts, guide wires and dowels.
